Today i got a call about a *sick* looking Loon on the shore in front of the Belcarra Nest Tree.
When i got there, the Loon did indeed appear to be unwell.
The tall man who reported him was able to go right up to the Loon & scoop them into the capture net.
The Loon is now at MARS.

Happy New Year, boonibarb!  Thank you for all the time you give to keep the camera working so we "out here" can watch Hornby Island live!  And huge thanks for your rescue work and journalling of these rescues.  I hope the critters stay safe in 2015, but if they need help we appreciate you and also winterwren being there to "take care of business".  THANKS!!
