I love the Robin pictures, Booni, esp. #2. I caught some robins here eating red berries - I don't know what the bush is because they planted it themselves years ago.

i was sitting with my friend having a visit on my back steps one day & a Chickadee family landed in the bush nearby & then on my birdfeeder!
While we sat there not feet away & watched, this poor adult was pestered by these two begging voices with fluttering wings while we sat there in amazement.
Listen to the begging sounds of the youngsters.
What a lucky day!

how sweet, booni! I've never seen a Chestnut-backed Chickadee before ... just as lovable as the Black-capped and Carolina Chickadees. Thanks for sharing the video - can't wait to show it to hubster. He loves these feisty little sweethearts.

The Swainson*s Thrush is a Bird that we often hear on the Hornby webcam.
We hear them everywhere on Hornby during the summer.
But i have never seen one!
One day i was at the backside of the Nest when i spotted this Bird.
i think i have finally seen one!

Here is a video, not done by me, that reminds us of the lovely sounds this Bird makes!

booni, I !!! Love !!! the pictures and videos of the chickadees! Last summer, a fledgling fluttered and begged at my bird feeders - lucky for him, the feeder always delivered
Good catch on the mystery thrush, that is a lovely song we hear on the cam.

Boonie I luv those little chickadees. In Ontario we have black capped and they frequently come to my feeders. They walk upside down on my oak trees looking for bugs to eat. I have never seen those flickers but that feather sure looks like it belongs to one. Thanks for sharing those wonderful photos along with your observations.
