How To Have More Than One Cam on Your Monitor
« on: October 12, 2011, 11:18:42 AM »
How To Watch Windows Side By Side

1. First open any link that you have that has our chat in it.

2.Then click on File at the top left corner of your browser, and in the drop down menu, click on new window.

3. When a new window opens, go to the sight where the cam is: http://www.wildearth.tv/hornby-island-eagle-cam

4. Then, at the bottom of your computer, RIGHT click on the taskbar and select  “tile windows vertically“.  You should now be able to see both pages.

5. On EACH page, use the scroll bars to bring into view what you wish to see. (Chat on the chat page, and the cam on the other page.)

Steps 2, 4 & 5 are illustrated below.

This will help some.

Very nice, Dizzy! Thank you.

When others have seen it, we may copy to the forum Technical Help area.

Edit: this has been moved to Tech. Help

netnanny,

up at the top right corner of your browser bar, you should see a dash, a square box, and a red X.  Click on the little square in the middle and that will open your browser page to full size.

Click the square again to reduce the size of the page.

I hope that is what you are looking for.

Some PC users may (on right click bottom task bar) have "show windows side by side".  Click that then re-size if needed.   Also remember, opening a new tab will not work, you must open a new window.

Nancy M  HEGPS  tks for your reply re trying to undo "tiling".
I DO clck on the middle box to re-size the page  but I have to do that all the time
I was hoping to untile  permantly.
BUT  maybe I'd better hod off on that  as I may have to use tiling to watch the new Hornby nest when it comes   lol
