Well, today is traditionally the day that Mum & Dad return to Hornby.
i biked by the Nest neighbourhood at noon & at 4pm today, but so no sign of the Eagles in any of their usual perch trees.
i was out in my garden all afternoon, & my ears were wide open, but i heard no sound of Eagles.

Thank you boonibarb. It may be just a different schedule this season. Maybe the salmon were exceptionally good this year so they stayed for a little extra?

Thanks Booni, you're the best. We have waited this long, I guess a day or two more won't hurt us.

Thank you for checking, Booni.
I take it that means the eagles in the other nest trees closest to you aren't back yet, either? I hope that means they are enjoying plenty of salmon somewhere.

Okay, we did another loop through the neighbourhood this morning at 9:30.
It was very windy, & threatening rain all day.
There were lots of white caps out on the water.
i saw no sign of any big dark birds with white heads & tails.

Thanks booni!
I have been looking skywards around here too and have seen no signs of those whiteheads either!
ETA:
Trills were first heard on cam last year on October 2nd. Dad was spotted by Mishi early in the morning in the Peters' Tree on this date last year, and trills were heard on cam a couple of times during the day.
