Thanks Booni for the great photo of Hali! Great photos of Mom, thanks Wren. Wish I was as flexible as Mom appears to be! LOL!  :ecsmile

Today, June 27, 5:34 pm.

Hali standing on the rim of the nest... of course she's spotted me.
Mom is on the Peters' tree by the sound of it? Gulling from time to time.

A bit of preening...
Still 5:34

On this next photo, while Hali shuggles, you can see the tassels at the ends of her secondaries, all stacked up along the half-folded left wing.

A little smile for your audience... (Of course it only looks that way. How does an eagle really smile?)

More photos from today.

Pardon the butt shot. But here you can see Hali's primaries, still partially sheathed, and lots of grey down still on her body. Also her stylish Capri pants.

A more polite view of one of her wings...

5:42. I believe she is standing on the CU cam here.

Thank you for your beautiful photo and the name of the shrimp boat, Booni.  It was quite a colorful day!  We've been watching a shrimp boat at work almost every day lately. Nice to learn the name.      We didn't know if it was the same one each time or different boats/owners.  Are more than one working there now?

And look at the gleam in her eye!  I think this lovely eaglet is going to give the eagle world a run for its money!  Hope's sister for sure.

Terrific pictures, wren - thank you!
