I just spoke with my brother who is a recreational fisherman (goes every weekend), and asked him what would catch his eye. He said a poster displaying a bird/animal caught in a line (not a graphic one, but one that really shows what a line can do to an animal) would get him to stop and have a look. He is in Alberta, so only does lake fishing and mentioned that there aren't too many places a poster can go. I then told him about Bean's idea of a card and he said he would definitely take one if it was handed to him. He also said that he would probably take it and put it in his tackle box where he would see it each time he opened it... which I thought was great.
Here in Vancouver, I know at the Marina I go to, a poster would work well. Not to sure about the cards as I would think a lot would be thrown away once they are given out. Both may work though.... we should use both!!
It is all coming along....this is great!!
