july 21 2020 17:39 - Eaglet on the runway branch

Getting sleepy now, with the heat & some food in the crop.
Still a baby...

Clenching the toes of one foot, to relax.

& a nice look at the big yellow toes while scratching.

Two days later, here is the less adventurous Eaglet, having made it to the close up cam box & hanging out.

july 23 2020 16:41 - Eaglet on the close up cam box

Five days later, one of the Eaglets leaves the Nest Tree & flies left!
i head out on my bike & find them in a Tree which i think might be in Gregg*s back yard.
This view is from Gunpowder near that round house.

From where i am, i*m on the wrong side of the light.

Looking pretty comfortable!

Look at the toes!

Okay, i go looking for the Eaglet from Harwood & find the Tree behind the artist*s house that has the paintbrushes & pencils out front to mark her place.
Look for the small Tree on the left half of the roof.

Okay, from here the light is much better!

& as far away as i am through the Trees, standing on the road, i am spotted.

booni, I cannot thank you enough for these wonderful photographs and videos!
it is so nice to see what has happening on the cam, compare it to the obs, and then to see your view on this world.
What a gift to be able to watch the happenings on Hornby through the cam and your lens!
I sure do wish that I was in quarantine there.....

Little update on this tiny Bird & her Nest!
You can see at least one fuzzlet in the Nest now.

Gradually making my way through my footage that is piling up quickly now.
i think this is the first Eaglet.

july 28 2020 17:09 - Eaglet on the wide angle camera box

Amazing how they already know that they need to preen, & how.

If you look in the space between the left wing & the left side of the body, you can see the beak preening a feather!

Yawning.
Notice this Eaglet hasn*t ventured far from the safety of the trunk of the Nest Tree.

The other Eaglet

The second Eaglet.

Okay, a bit later in the day, now the first Eaglet has flown over to Gregg*s Tree!
