Hi Booni thank you!!  I'm so happy Em laid 2 eggs and that the same nest is being used.  I'll scroll back for photos of Mr. Em.

Woo Hoo!

Sandy  :ecsmile

Hiya nubchai!
Yes, this is the same Nest as Mum & Dad Hornby.

Yes, Em laid two eggs, we believe.
Her & the male took turns incubating.
The eggs have now both hatched, just over the past few days.
Yesterday the male & Em each fed one Eaglet, both at the same time!
The male is Mr. Em, at this point.
If you go back over the past few pages of this topic, you can see fotos of him.

mishi & i were at Grassy Point & the male Eagle was in The His & Hers Tree looking for food.
Suddenly he would be gone & then we would be watching him flying in to the Nest area.
i really wanted to see where he was getting all this food from!
But i kept missing his fly offs, & then there he*d be, back on The His & Hers Tree.
Finally we caught him flying off, & he headed way out over the water towards Texada.
There was some kind of boat out there, so i thought perhaps the Eagles were nabbing some sort of by catch, but where they were gathering was way away from the boat.
Later i will post fotos to show you the Eagles* faces covered in what looks to me to be Herring scales!
Meantime, the videos took me all night to upload, over twelve hours just for these two.
More to come!
i was having a hard time focusing at this distance to get a foto, but when i did a video it came out nice & sharp, so i was sort of watching the action while taking a video.

That nabbing of Herring went on for quite a while.
Then all the Eagles flew back inland & landed in the Trees of & near Grassy Point.
Some landed at the shore.
These two videos are of the group of five that i saw there.

After that we stopped at the back side of the Nest & could see Em on the Nest, brooding or keeping an eye on the Eaglets.
Both she & the male were calling at one point, not sure why.

We were walking & went down to Hidden Beach & scared off a group of Canada Geese & Goslings!

They are escaping towards Big Rock as i adjust my camera settings & try to find them again in the waves.
The protective Goose on the right is in *don*t mess with me!* mode!

We did a driveby, looking for the Eagles, & found them both on the Nest!

Okay, hot off the press.
Almost.
We stopped by the back side of the Nest & could see Em feeding the Eaglets.
So far, no spotting of Eaglets from the ground.
There are LOTS of Flies!
You can see them, in some of these fotos.

A bit later in the day, we are on the right side of the light & we find Mr. Em keeping an eye on the Eaglets!
Even though we are way out on the road peeking through branches, he is keeping his eye on us!

i*m hoping for a glimpse of them.
