Looking to where she is again.

april 29 2018 12:51 - Eagle on the Nest

Blast off!

He flies around & lands in Fosters* Fir.
Then after a bit joins Em in The Peters* Tree, landing in the lower down part, below her.
They are calling so i turn on my video.

i*m calling this Eagle Gaptail, because they are missing some feathers/have some damaged feathers on the right side.
In the video i posted yesterday the cover picture of the video you can see the big gap in the tail feathers on the right side.
You can see the gap when he leaps from the Nest, too.

There always seem to be lots of buggies flying around where the Eagles are perched.

The wild flowers at Grassy Point are SPECTACULAR right now!
i went down there last evening to photograph them because it was cloudy & i thought they would show better than if i went while it was sunny & too bright.

Oh!
& whaddya know!
There was an Eagle on the beach!
The tide was going out so perhaps they are watching for Midshipmen?

It is hard to show with a foto what the eye sees!
There is such a bounty of beautiful purple!
The yellow is called Spring Gold.
That*s The His & Hers Tree middle top.

The dark purple is Menzie*s Larkspur, & you can see the Eagle on the shore.

Trying to show the scope of it all with a panorama foto.
These look better when you click them.
That*s Glass House & Trees.

There are lovely rusty red flowered plants, i don*t know what they are, but you can see the clusters of them here.
