This is a beautiful old Fir Tree Nest, on a road that is super busy in the summer months.
It is right across the road from a bustling campsite, near the Hornby Co-Op, & one of the main routes to get to the fabulous sandy Tribune Bay beach.
There were two Eaglets at this Nest the season before last, & both seemed to have stayed in the Tree long enough to fledge!
This wasn*t the case in previous years.
You can find last year*s posts about this Nest territory, the stories of the Eaglets* rescues from past seasons, & links to previous seasons* posts here.

On a hunch, since it was such a lovely evening, i did a quick driveby of this Nest, thinking maybe i would hear an Eaglet if i was lucky.
i drove by slowly, looking up & back, & was pretty sure i saw a familiar shape!

What a nice picture of the eaglet, booni!  Nice to know this nest is being used.   thumbup
