Here is the male Eagle, below her now.
What the heck is going on.
They are both having a shower now in the rain.
The other female is still near me.

april 17 2017 12:48 - male & extra female Eagle at Little Trib

Otto is trying to sit on me, which is NOT HELPFUL!
Male is below visitor female now, & female closer to me is still calling.

i am trying to use Otto as a tripod but he is not sitting still.
Female calls as does pair female near me.

After this the pair flew over my head towards Nest #24 territory.
What the heck?

i wasn*t seeing any Eagles in this territory, no nesting activity,  nothing.
We were sitting on a log enjoying the view when i noticed an Eagle fly in from my right somewhere & go way to the left & pick something off the water & fly back again to the right.
i watched them, from a long ways away, to see where they landed.
They landed in the Nest Tree!
But not one of the ones along Little Tribune Bay.
This is the one that you get to from the path at the curve of the road at Seawright.
Not sure if it is the Little Tribs using all three Nests in the past?
i was remembering these being separate pairs, in the past.
But i believe there has been a huge changeover of pairs on Hornby, so things are different now.
Anyway, i was thinking why would they fly back to their Nest unless the had young to feed there?
i suppose they could just be eating there, but i took a video & some fotos to try to see.
Now these are all from a LONG ways off.

Not sure if this is feeding or just eating?

Here you can see a chunk of food hanging from the beak.

Here too.
i am trying to see, but i don*t see a nestling in any of my fotos.
They must be very small still.

July 8. One adult perched on this nest's babysitting tree. Looks like a streak of poop on his or her back... Unusual. Did an eaglet do that?

11:07 am

Same eagle, same branch; I'm the one who has moved.
11:12

Here's the nest. Some poop on the foundation branches to the right, and higher up on the right. I'm looking for little flags of moulted down clinging to the branches but I don't see any.
There are no sounds right here. I hear some screeps from Nest 25, to my left, and occasionally from Nest 24, to my right.

After a visit to Nest 25, I check here again.
Same eagle, same branch:
July 18, 12:18

Another shot of the nest. Still looking for little downy flags and not seeing any.

I took a peek below the nest. There were quite a lot of poopshots there. But maybe a little pale and faded? It's hard to tell because we're had almost no rain since late June. But hard to believe there wasn't an eaglet here at some point recently.
I still don't know what is going on.
