This is a fabulous nesting territory.
A beautiful grassy huge farm field on a long stretch of exquisite shoreline.
You gotta walk a long way over a bouldery beach to get to this Nest.
i have only seen the Nest area from above, on the road, or from the water & one time in a few quick views from someone*s video they took while paragliding!
Last year*s topic, & links to previous years, plus that cool video can be can be found  here.

Today we were driving down the hill past Olsen*s Farm & above us, soaring in the wind were at least a dozen Eagles of different ages!

Olsen Farm nest on July 7...

One eaglet aboard!
July 7, 4:41 pm

One parent perched below the nest.
Unfortunately the tide was too high for me to walk to the far side.

Today I paddled by, in slightly rocky seas, so it wasn't much of a photo day, but I did see the eaglet in a nearby tree!
Another successful fledge.

Photos later, if they turn out.

They did!
I actually got out of the boat for a minute to take those. Didn't linger because the wind was picking up.

Here's the eaglet...

Here's Mom, perched below the nest, on the same branch she was on last time I visited!

And here's Dad, between the two.
