I hope this will be the biggest and best HIP trip so far! After learning that Hornby is a treasure trove of ammonite and other fossils, I am keen to do some fossiling this time also.
Anyone else?

Jeav, in that case I suggest that you look at the tide tables before booking a date. I don't know much about fossils, but those rock hounds sure love coming here on a nice low tide!

I will find out early next week on my vacation availability and hope to get a week in june. What sounds like a good week/end? June 17th -24th is what I'm aiming for.

Jeff the weekend that was chosen by the last HIP trip members was the second weekend of June. That would be the weekend over June 10, 11th. The following weekend would be Father's Day and not many would want to leave home that day. That also is the beginning of high season for most airlines, making travel costs greater. Never-the-less we should try to find out if that works for the majority. Thanks for bringing up the subject.

Hub and I will be there. Obviously the second weekend in June plus or minus days on each side. Who else is in? 😀
We're looking for places right now but who's going will be important.

Unfortunately for me, I will have to cut my stay to 3 or 4 nights this year. One of my granddaughters is graduating from university that same week. I see lots of signs that point to a good year for our nest, so glad I can be there for the end of the week and the weekend. Looking forward to seeing lots of chatters too.

Now that we have eggs and can look forward to eaglets I hope and expect that more chatters and MODS will join the HIP trip. If you havent already made plans to do so, please consider this amazing and gratifying experience. Every chatter should consider themselves invited.. no invitations go out.
