Catching up finally on a fabulous set of fotos that i never got around to posting!
i took 221 fotos of just one Eagle!
& some are fabulously close & sharp.
Well, i whittled them down to 53 fotos, yikes.
i won*t post them all, but if you click this first one, then when it opens in another tab click the middle right edge of that page to scroll through them one at a time.
We started a ways away then crept slowly closer & closer & this Eagle did not seem to mind us one bit.
We finally passed right under her & then viewed her again from the other side.

In this foto you can see the two barbs on the back of their tongue!  eek!
 


Tucking her foot against her warm belly under the feathers there.
