i heard the Niners calling & landing across the road from me again.
They don*t seem to have eggs?
i believe this is the female out front, male more hidden.

Spotted this beauty in the Tree across the road from me one day.

This one posted skewed, so click on it to see it properly.

Another Eagle landed in the top of the Tree but didn*t chase this one away!
& this one watched, but didn*t seem to feel the need to skeedaddle.

This is the Eagle who landed in the top of the Tree, where the Niner pair usually go.

It is the annual Herring Spawn season, for me it is better than c*mas!
The Niner Eagles were paying a visit in the Tree across the road from me.

A little bit earlier in the month, & i luck out to spot at least 10-20 Eagles hanging out on the rocks on the edge of the water in Niner territory, waiting for Herring to jump close so they can nab & eat them!
At the time i wasn*t thrilled with the fotos, because they are not sharp.
But today i decided to upload them just for the excitement of the time & to show the action.

i*m not going to post all 28 fotos here, because it takes a lot of time & i*m not sure anyone will even look back here to a year ago, but in case anyone does find this post, click on this first foto & it will take you to my flickr page of that foto.
In the middle of the left of the foto page that opens up is an arrow pointing left.
Click that to look at all the fotos one by one.
& each foto can be clicked on to see it enlarged.

i*ll post the videos here that i got from that time.

It sort of looks like this Herring is dead & stiff rather than alive?
It sure is a nice sized one!

The next day i go back again during a time of nice lighting & this time i bring a tripod & use a faster shutter speed!
75 new fotos to see, beginning with this one.
These first two were cropped almost a year ago.
Then i guess i ran out of time.
Today i decided to just go fast & upload the rest of them whole.
Click this foto, then click the right side of the foto page that opens up to see them all, one foto at a time.

& a video from that day, a long one.
Zone out & watch a young Eagle trying to catch a Herring during the Herring Spawn, with the lovely blue spawny water slupping in the background!
