Such a pretty GHO.  I hope it gets better so it can go back to the wild.  Looks like a snake in the hawks talons.  Interesting thread.  Thanks for sharing your Nebraska.

Just in case you have a pumpkin left over after halloween or a pumpkin decoration for fall, don't just throw them away.
  They make a good meal for the wildlife.  Remember the little squirrel that had the skin and fur issue? well here he is in this first photo and he is looking really good.
