Love this sequence!  Good memories of eaglets we've had on cam, that dark intensity in the eyes, the rich color of those young feathers!  Thanks for sharing!  love

Today i went to see what was going on at the Dunlop Nest.
Every day it comes to me that i need to get back there & get more fotos.
But look how time has flown already.
i was going round & round trying to get this pair of branching Eaglets.
The one on the right looked GIGANTIC compared to the other.

As i was looking up at the Tree, i saw another blob over to the left!
THREE Eaglets in one Nest Tree!
Did they have three this year?  puzzled

The left Eaglet of the pair.

Here*s the single one, looking down at the other two.

Doing a right wing & tail stretch.

The big one on the right.

Remember the Eaglet in my last posts who had kind of stipply holes in the beak?
Wonder if this is the same one?

Beautiful find!
Would the parents tolerate an eaglet from another family on their tree?

Oh yeah, i forgot something, of course i looked at the ground under the Nest Tree which was covered with poopshots & a few sticks & about five huge Fish heads & spines.
There is a large fishing bank/point off of Dunlop Point, so perhaps these Eagles score the heads & spines when the Fish are cleaned?
Or did they catch all these huge Fish?
