Spotted this beauty in the field uphill from Little Tribune Bay & just had to pull over to see what he was.

Isn*t he magnificent?
These had all disappeared, but someone has been raising them & re-introducing them.
Nice to see them surviving!
 


Looking up from that fabulous fellow, i spotted this fabulous youngster air drying closer to the beach.
Wish i*d had time to go down there & get some close up shots of those fabulous head feathers!

This Eagle with interesting dark feathers in their head feathers was perched just inland of Little Tribune Bay.

This fabulous youngster was perched in a Tree, uphill from the water a good ways, overlooking the field where i found the Common Goldeneye that i rescued!

From a long ways away, i spotted a Bird shape & size in this Tree that didn*t look familiar, so i wanted to check it out closer!
There were five Turkey Vultures soaring overhead, then one landed in the Tree with the strange Bird, & they looked the same size.
i was thinking maybe Peregrine Falcon, but would a Turkey Vulture land with them?

i went for a walk this day & spotted this Eagle on the drive home & am not at all sure where i spotted them!
i am thinking this must be Little Tribune Bay perhaps?
