This is what my back yard tree looks like from the cam view angle.
This Tree gets used a lot by Ravens & Eagles.
We haven*t figured out yet if we can see this Tree from the cam view.
It is part of Nest #9 territory, & not far away from Mishi*s Tree, which is Mum & Dad*s territory.

This is another tree that is behind my yard that is used by Ravens & Eagles.
It is near the Spire Tree & is part of Nest #9 territory.
i am not sure if we see this Tree from the cam.

Photographing Mum & Dad in Mishi*s Tree one day, i noticed that this Tree we can see on the cam had lost a big branch from it*s cut off top.
Here is what it looked like before.

top cut off Tree - closer

november 18 2012 10:07 - cut off top Tree - this is on the far side of the Tree from the cam view.
It is hard to tell what a huge chunk this is missing from this foto.

Here is the whole branch that fell down, with my boot & Chester*s nose to give a size comparison.

This is a driveway, if that helps you to imagine the size of this.

This is the Tree like the cam would see it.
Missing piece is from far side, compare to original foto!

i thought it would be neat to show you what this branch, which is so highly visible from the cam,  actually looks like.
Note in particular the curlicue one that we sometimes find one of the Eagles perched on.

Sometimes from the cam, in the far distance, we see one or two Eagles perched on a Tree with a fork at the top.
i knew i*d seen a Tree like this, so yesterday i went looking for it.
Well, i found two!
These are both quite close together, & both are uphill of the Hidden Beach Trees, right beside Wiig territory, beside Sollans Road & uphill from Gunpowder Trail, in that corner, on the map.
There is a really good scrollable map of Hornby, on which you can look for this area here.

& here is a Google Earth view of the territory, showing a more or less placement of Mum & Dad*s Nest, the Wiig Nest, & these Fork Trees.
